I enjoy playing my witches and budget spirits but i would like to play a competitive bg.However i have no idea what the meta is or where to start, the forums are pretty dead and i am mostly online when there are like 20 people playing so i cant really see what the high ranks are running. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Honestly, I have no idea if FW has a solid goodstuff list. My expectation is that it is some independently strong runes and then several thematic modules mashed together. The faction, compared to pretty much all the others, is lagging in terms of raw rune power. My advice: draft what you think a list would look like, and tweak from there. Start full highlander and cut as necessary.
Abomination Death guard Death Harvester Death Caster Dusk creeper Executioner Lost Queen Mute Stalker Polluted Martyr Risen Yeti Serkan Stitched seamstress Stitched Tyrant anathema domination haunt haunting grip mobilization soulbane steal life soulreave banner unholy tomb reapers blade sac dagger vendetta
I guess that looks strong. It doesn't really stand out the way some other factions' goodstuff does is all.
i use coragh, corpse golem, dusk creeper shadowshank, ethreal soldier, death guard, fleshblight zombie, mute stalker, risen moga....
Thanks for all the replies.I have come up with an experimental meta bg,mostly champions i have already played before and which i have some experience with, and the standard fw toolbox.I will test it out and make changes as i see what works and what doesnt. This is the new version:
I have stoped playing that bg some time ago,i am gonna have another go at meta after i finish fleshing out my new bg,and it will definitely include toh and ut. Meanwhile it would be nice if anyone else posted theirs meta bg.
I would consider cheap meat, true spirits and death benefit to be our meta bgs atm. I run creeps and witches for funsies. I can post any bgs you would like to see that i have
I imagine two Doom also appropriately handle problems that Soulreave would normally take care of; with the added benefit of not needing board presence?
