Hello everybody, I am a new player ready to spend $50 or so and I have some questions. I'm not yet leaning to any faction or theme. 1. In general, what should I buy? 2. The Path of De'lim Megabox seems to have the best bulk discount, but will I regret not getting some extended and or core? 3. What is a Legendary vs Exotic? The descriptions suggest that only some boxes have Legendaries, is that true? 4. The Nefari Resurrection campaign says it gives a LE, but none of the others shows a reward. Is there any benefit to competing the others? 5. Shards, tokens other stuff - what are they and do I want them? 6. Are the premade decks a good value? Do they contain power cards? Thanks for the help
1. I'd suggest the Megabox. 2. No, you will not regret it. By playing (some) games you get free core runes of the faction you play. With the gold you earn buy doing dailies, games and achievements you should get extended boxes (or packs). 3. Packs have a guaranteed rare that could be an exotic (10% chance). the first pack of a box contains a guaranteed exotic instead of the rare, the other 9 packs of the box have a rare with 10% chance to become exotic. Each pack (single or from a box) has a 5% chance to contain an extra legendary rune. the new box or megabox will not contain legendaries as there are no Path of Delim legendaries (yet). 4. it's only one! limited edition rune, you can buy the campaign with earned gold later. I would not spend real money on it. 5. xp tokens are used to unlock additional ability options on you champs. by playing a rune, it will gain xp. An xp token will make that go faster. You can destroy runes from your collection and what you get are shards. You can use shards to create ("forge") runes you want. 500 shards is enough for an extended exotic. you cannot forge the Path of Delim runes (yet) so they are very interesting trade material for those that do not spend real money. 6. Don't think so. Don't be afraid, Megabox is the best deal at the moment. You won't regret delaying extended boxes becase they will come to you in time, when you earn enough gold to exchange for packs. I recommend you this site which sorts all runes and abilities, from each faction, at light speed: https://poxbase.com/home About your faction preference, I suggest you to play a lot with the free decks to get a taste of what's up with that faction. For example, UD has a lot of melee beaters, anti range units and use the most of Fire type of damage. Once you have decided which faction to focus your newer experience, you can safely trade away other faction runes you have earned / brough for the ones you like. Be careful though, allways check for values to don't get screwed heh.
