The "countdown" cant be cleansed. The possession after the countdow can. (This is the reason why the spell is terribad)
Which side considers a possessed champion to be "friendly"? If a possessed champion is considered owned by the enemy, it makes sense that a relic that cleanses friendly units won't cleanse it. OP should include who owned the champion and who owned the cleansing diamond.
I owned the champ. he possessed it. cleansing diamond did not clear the possession after his spell triggered are you saying it would have to be a targeted cleanse?
