the answer is 42, always. said that, the answer is : 1. poxnora is a game that needs LOT of training. when you play a LOT a game, you feel linked to it, so its harder to completely leave it. you can take breaks, but eventually you ll come back. also its more similar to a miniature wargame than to a cardgame and this strengthens the affection to the faction/units, and suddenly to the game. 2. poxnora has NO other competitor at the moment. ABSOLUTELY NO other game is like poxnora. So even the people who searched for something similar, had to turn back at some point.
I think it's less having to "grow up" and more the response is understandable considering the majority of the "criticism" is just surface complaining without considering all the points or are just factually incorrect.
