What defines these? The easiest example here being bullseye. How do I know of my champ is defined as being ranged? If it has a range of 1-4, what is it then? The 1-1 and 5-6 etc. stuff is obvious, but what about the in-between points? Also, what's the interactions between ranged pummel/melee barrage? If I remember correctly, one of them works and another doesn't, but I can't remember which.
Melee = 1 range attack Range > 1 range attack Pummel for ranged doesn't work @themacca Barrage for melee does A (1-2) ranged unit can do both melee and ranged attacks, depending on how much spaces away of it's target is.
1-1 is melee, everything else is ranged. There might be a couple exceptions. I know that Execution Order only works on 1-1 units.
From past knowledge. Yes. However it will only gain the damage if you attack at range. Don't engage, and expect it to work.
It does not. 1-X is treated as melee for bullseye only. Frostcall quiver however works at range 1-2 so it's a coding issue or the product of a ninja nerf.
Well, as my post hinted, I'm pretty sure the right definition for melee is 1-1, so it's a matter of correcting that. It's truly bad when we have no clue of a mechanic's definition.
Bullseye has been bugged for years. Last time i checked, which was a looong time ago, it did not work on champs with min range 1...so colossal boa for example, even if it attacked at range of 2. Likewise, ranged attacks like arrowshot also did not work, even if they function like basic attacks.
Arrowshot was changed because of bullseye and visa versa. There's no reason it should work on abilities.
