Ranged Attacks removing Nexus Aura?

I had a Barbarian Guardian with Nexus Aura activated. Opponent attacked it (No other champs in the AoE) with Grimlic and Nexus Aura procced as seen in the Log. He then proceeded to attack from melee (Inside the Nexus Aura AoE) but Nexus Aura no longer triggered.

 

Any chance that it had Dispelling Blows?

 

Nope. And Nexus Aura isnt dispellable anyway.
