No its not. An overpriced turtle in FW that can get his long fuse bomb ability off once and then usually gets killed, all the while only attacking once a turn majority of the time? Yeah, it's a joke.
Split with a UD Fire Amp and he is quite nice. Psuedo Tank with a boost-able AoE, that sometimes gets in an attack. @GabrielQ made a mock FS/UD fire bg. I am sure he would link you to it.
Thread. Only if you can set the relic and trow an AoS or a frozen cone from serky is worthy, otherwise
He's good early game with pillage as it reduces his cost to cap those early fonts. I wouldn't run him unless you have some AOE spells or non-disease/poison bombs to set his bomb off the turn he deploys it for maximum effectiveness. The bomb blows when destroyed. I wouldn't say he's garbage as some combos do really good with him but I wouldn't count him as stellar either since he does require extra support to be effective.
Disposable gutter-material. An embarrassment. Don't even bring his ass to the battlefield, he'll make you look bad. Utter trash. Better to be set aflame by one of the warlocks.
Man i feel bad for the whole tortuns race, with the ponderous abilitie, i played this tortun and i felt how hard to play is those guys.
Horn of order makes the deck alot easier to play, that and tortun barrage. Melee ponderous is very much handicapped, ranged ponderous, thats just saving ap to focus fire someone down in 1 round.
