Rune Name; Myx Hivemind Faction: SL/UD Race: Arthropod/Myx, Class: Shaman, Size: 2x2, Rarity: Rare Artwork: A miniscule myx with a truly prodigious abdomen supported by 8 legs, the carapace separating to reveal a large mass of brain matter, magical sparks emanating from it and streaking to a legion of drones or some poor protectorate dwarf/elf Flavor-Text: The cruelest gift maxxarek could give to his allies is that of intellect to one surrounded by mindless kin Nora Cost: Unsure, mid 70's? Both Myx and UD arthropods struggle with two things, ethereal units and non basic attack damage, this rune is intended to solve both of those in a fluffy manner since both themes work off the back of their expendable summons Why isn't this Rune's role being fulfilled by similar Runes? A magic attacker doesn't exist in myx and in UD magic attack is relegated to low health high cost melee units, not optimal. How is this Rune different from what is already in Pox Nora? Most runes that function off abusing other runes are in FW, I feel they could find a home in other factions so long as the bg is summon specific How is this Rune competitive and why would it be used over other Runes? Its a range unit, In UD no less, thats a good start. Its a magic attacker in two bg's that have no magic. Thats at least 1x right there. It also brings a unique and powerful tool(sandblasted) to UD as well as one more alt attack type in myx that is 60% acid and 40% phsyical What makes this Rune unique and fun to use? Its a slow rolling ranged monster that requires active player involvement to grow rather than by merely existing like escalation units
