I see an influx of new player names and guilds in the top ranks. Are these all new players since the revamp or have vets simply started new accounts?

Just so you know, I do get that joke all the time and is one of the reasons I keep this name. What I mean to say is that yes the joke is funny, but no, you are not being new and original .

I am noticing there are new players who are not only leveling up pretty quickly but some are reaching LL.

Most "vets" as you would have it, such as myself, have already made our accounts. The process of moving ones runes can be a painful and tedious one, and those who desired new accounts or any number of alts, likely would have made them by now. No real reason to bother making another account just because of the steam release. The exception is if you're paranoid that you came up with a cool name and that someone else will come and take it. This has already happened.

Personally I had an account long long time ago that is irrelevant now, where as no one would remember me from then aside from my guild m8s, I paid attention and remember who I saw. I worked from the shadows, as it were.
