then he becomes old man maul on the run from the inquisition trying to activate an ancient sith battleship the fifth brother, 8th brother, and 7th sister ( inquisitors ) are all killed and then Maul blinds Kanan Jarrus Then he dies trying to take out Obi Wan on Tatatoot
(LEGENDS) Of course Maul is not the first dark side user ever to survive having his lower half cut off, though Maw from Jedi knight dark forces 2 I think had repulsorlifts implanted, or he force floats. he works for Jerec, an inquisitor that outlived the Empire. (/ LEGENDS ) the head inquisitor in rebels btw: Also Maul must have taken out another unnamed inquisitor seeing as his lightsaber staff is made of an inquisitor saber.
