Not removed on purpose. There's just a lot of stuff to fix because of the way it was integrated into SOE's systems. I love drafts myself
that and senshu said stuff about gambling laws, but yeah drafts were lovely. (if i remember correctly, was great communication)
Gambling laws just means people in certain states can't participate, though whether it even falls under that purview is ambiguous.
I can see some big benefits to Free Drafts. 1st. No Pressure of being afraid of losses. 2nd. Improving Strategy and metagaming. Much more draft games will be played, so fun strategies will appear. 3rd. Teaches players how to draft so they can do ticket drafts in the future. 4th. Imagine the streams and youtube videos this can make. 5th. It's Fun.
