Is there a difference in which you can get on the 5% pr pack depending on which packs/boxes you buy? Or another way to ask, If i want a pink Coragh is there a specific type of pack/box i should aim for or is the cheapest one the way to go?
Percentage wise there should not be. HOWEVER - I am not sure which legendaries are put in which boxes. I am not confident however, that all legendaries are in all boxes. I think the 150k's would be in the extended, but that's a total guess at this point. 5% chance to gain a bonus rune. Which is different than the 10% chance of the rare becoming an exotic. I don't know, from what I've seen TheNidhogg, seems overall about right.
I know, I know, statistically insignificant sample size, etc. And also a lot of confirmation bias, but I hear a lot of legendary drops.
Last night I bought about 3 boxes, 1 legendary drop. But yeah. People get lucky, and with the amount of boxes recently bought, the stories will be more frequent.
statistically every second box will contain legendary? I'm terrible at numbers though, don't beat me.
Here's the description from the marketplace: "6 common, 3 uncommon, and 1 rare rune. Each rare slot has a 10% chance of becoming an exotic. Additionally, this pack comes with 1 token and a 5% chance to get a Legendary Rune from this set." So, if this is implemented as it says, core set carries the banners and diplomats, and extended set all the rest. Can anyone confirm if this really works this way?
I'd recommend buying packs compared to boxes, my reasoning i bought twelve packs and got 2 legendary's. People are buying boxes on boxes and getting 1 legendary, i think it's an increased chance of legendary's in packs.
