I just figured out that with Beast Caller, you can make a BG which uses no relics, cancels relics, and can potentially summon champs with plenty of DEF and other reductors. Check this base: Nefari Beastcaller x2. Undertortoise x2, Fire Giant x2, Warogg x2, Sheoul Monstrosity x2, Siege Monger x2, Pit Dragon x2, Flameweb Spider x2, Korona, Bok Huntress x1. Other: Demon Shield x2, Breath of Ash x2 POssibilities: Bok Enforcer x2, Nefari Guard x2 If you know these runes, you will notice that most of them have 2-3 base DEF with a chance to go up to 5-6 DEF with Undertortoise. Likewise, several of these champs have damage reducers. Plus, Beastcaller makes up for the lack of a banner, as well as providing reflexes every turn. Demon Shield and Breath of Ash should help a lil' bit with range. Also, Bok Enforcer can give aditional DEF and DMG. Can somebody please test this?
I have no idea. I think using any of our magical damage champ would suffice since most champs already do the high-something part. You could perfectly ditch out some of them and put in some support with alt damage. Also, Fire Giant has Attack: Fire.
