I think maybe the devs are a bit ahead of me, but maybe, why instead of depicting most of future vampyres as nobility or even well-cultured beings, should you instead depict them more a and more like brutes. Right now they are mostly Melee with a few weak ranged units. This, I think makes them balanced. And their split with UD also makes them incredibly strong. Basically, strong melee vamps were turned into bloodthirsty savages like Demonvein and Bloodtracker. The FEW sane ones are nothing but feeble witches and sorcerers turned bloodsuckers. Basically, reconstruct the vampyre mythos.
