For healing-esque abilities? Regen, eater, acolyte, life siphon? Which do you prefer? What are your opinions on them? Do you use them? Focus your BG on them? If you do run them do you like to pack extra healing via spells or abilities? Are there other ones you like? Or do you prefer to use healing spells exclusively? Anything you want to post about healing/pseudo-healing abilities go for it!
I personally think Revel in Misery is kind of nuts, but that's FW only, obviously. It makes such a great module in so many FW BGs, though; Witches like Curses and Zombies like Disease and Draco-Lich can heal himself so effectively with it.
I like to make BG's focused on eaters and then I usually splash in an acolyte or two and and 1 or 2 equips to grant eater to my acolyte, or tinder box to give my eater acolyte. Good fun. I can't say that I ever use healing spells though I just feel like if it gets to the point where I need the spell it's already to late and that spell slot is better served as something else.
For me, it depends on rather or not healing is available for the theme I'm playing or if I can splash it in somehow; prefer champ healing though.
Divine Favor because I like decks where my creatures can afford to move a lot and be spread out, so targeted healers would have to be able to keep up. Also, I like managing damage to my units, making sure it's somewhat spread out, which is extra nice for DF.
