The years when people stopped running Dwarven Kings was when everything was solid at 75 nora, and he was costed at 100 nora.

Now he has 6 speed, the DF favor is in ranks so its either costly when you are deploying for max effect, or effecient when deploying for minor effect. He also lost alot of his base damage(3 damage is alot and melee spec is on upgrade tree instead of base) in favor of battle master support in that build.
The main thing about him was the fact that when you deploy him its like you receive a "gamebreaker" effect and the longer he exist, the more he effects the game. He isn't a tank, he is a high hp,decent defense, support, beater, one that if you are really trying to pull off a "good" warcry each round, you will need some AP gen and something to protect him in the middle of combat among the chaos.

He is a great unit, but hes not like scien where he has access to boost, regal and pummels someone to death at range with warcry and the rest of the boosted to heck voils are left to do stuff to the rest of the enemy team.

Deep miner is one of those units that works really well or doesn't. You have to be careful when playing nora gen "meta" style. a good counter or rush can destroy you.
