It doesn't show up in the log and when I ask, my opponent refuses to tell me. Want to let me in on the secret or is this some sort of a cheat code people are using?
*Reading . . .* IT LASTS 8 G!@#$DAM TURNS?!?! WTF? Why would I ever play against that? GG, straight-up.
Some of the options you have for dealing with it include: focus on something else, attack it so many times that it goes away (3 more than normal basically), use champions with Precision (or runes that give them Precision) so you can attack through it, or use indirect forms of damage, such as Pounce, Fire Bomb and damage spells. Or Dispell the unit. Or use Vertical Push/Blink/Vortex. Kind of hard to suggest something in particular without knowing the faction(s) you use. After playing this game for a while, I realized that people are very predictable about when they use Blizzard Cloak and on who. That being said, it might need a nerf, but I am not sure.
Forglar Swamp. And I have no runes of any power at all, so don't bother suggesting some Limited/Legendary combo. Be nice if you could suggest something that involves Commons and zero skill. Seems like the 5 millionth thing that Pox never expected to be used in combination with 6 other things. Because they do this, then they do Crystallize, then they seize a font, etc. "Attack it more than 3 times" is such a non-helpful solution here. Because then I get to waste 3 attacks. Then they heal it. Screw it. Why do I even bother?
This is a long list of FS methods for circumventing Nohkan Do (most also work against Blizzard Cloak). Because I'm a nice dude, I've filtered it to just Commons/Uncommons/Rares (although I might have missed a couple): Champions Boghopper Bull (Massive Leap + Sweep) Circadian Templar (Rebuke) Coral Creeper (Precision) Darkmarsh Enforcer (Binding Chains + Crushing Charge) Darkmarsh Shadow (Mudsling) Darkmarsh Snatcher (Assassinate) Darkmarsh Sorcerer (Charged/Magical Bomb) Darkmarsh Zealot (Final Word) Death Lily (Rapid Attack) Draksar Psion (Telekinetic Thrust) Dreadwing (Poison Cloud) Electric Eel (Chain Lightning + Counter Attack: Ranged) Fire Salaman (Flame Nova) Firk Botanist (Psychic Jab) Firk Mindbreaker (Assassinate) Firk Mind Shredder (Psychic Ping) Firk Mindweaver (Psychic Jab) Firk Psy-sentry (Sentinel) Fly Catcher (Stall) Hippo Rider (Trample) Jellebrium Darkweaver (Energy Thief + Psychic Aura) Magnetic Anuran (Fry) Marsh Raptor (Cleave + Pounce) Mindwarp Frog (Hallucinogenic + Poison Cloud) Mirefolk Stalker (Assassinate) Misshapen Boghopper (Pounce) Muck Dragon (Poison Aura + Punishing Aura) Poison Elemental (Deflect: Poison + Poison Cloud + Poison Cloud Trap) Revolting Fentek (Poison Aura + Poison Cloud Trap) Salaman Dervish (Whirl of Blades + Whirlwind Attack) Salaman Hunter (Precision) Salaman Trapper (various Traps) Screaming Leviathan (Sonic Aura) Shock Pomfret (Assault + Electricity Aura) Shock Toad (Fry) Sixul (Fire Volatility) Slipworm (Electricity Aura) Snaptooth Rider (Rapid Attack) Swamp Octopus (Rapid Attack) Tortalleon Gunbattery (Artillery Strike) Tortun Favored (Tidal Wave) Tortun Galesinger (Gale) Tortun Grenadier (Fire Bomb) Tortun Groundpounder (Crushing Charge + Tremor) Tortun Gunslinger (Ricochet Shot) Tortun Inventor (Fry + Lightning Skewer + Paralyze) Tortun Minelayer (Boulder Trap + Land Mine) Tortun Mortar (Artillery + Fire Trap) Tortun Repeater (Fire Trap + Suppressing Fire) Spells Bog Trap (creates impeding Water and entering it drains all AP from non-Amphibious/Flying) Feeding Frenzy (summons 5 Piranhas with 5 AP for burning through NKD misses) Gloomwater ( -2 SPD and 1 base DMG/DEF for 2 turns in an area) Hungry Mire (creates Dirt/Shallow Water for 6 turns and entering it inflicts 5 Physical damage and Ensnared 2) Poisonous Fumes (creates Poison Cloud) Psionic Storm (inflicts 6 Psychic damage and Wandering for 2 turns in an area) Reverberating Blast (deals 10/5 Sonic damage to 1/2 targets and applies Stunned 2) Tendrils of the Deep (creates Water and leaving it inflicts 8 Physical damage and Ensnared 3) Relics Poison Trap (drains all AP an applies Poisoned 3 when triggers) Soultap Garnet (applies Soultapped) The Foulest Mushroom (Choking Stench) Tortun Land Cannon (deals 15 Physical damage without triggering NKD) Equipment Darkmarsh Helm (provides Assassinate) Tome of Arcanis (provides Metamorphosis for Wizards) ----- This list isn't organized by effectiveness, so keep in mind that some of these are only for emergencies when you need the damage. If you post your current BG, I could recommend options well-suited to it.
Of course, many of these aren't really much of a counter, because the 3 dodges will still be up next turn when your abilities are on cooldown, but oh well.
I play fs, we got out ways to deal with it... I mean use a pinger(?) or anything with a poison cloud. Fs has like. Tonnes of non-atk damage. Q.Q I like fs so much. I collect it. XD
You forgot Pigmy Hippo Stampede. It may seem counterproductive, but I've got owned by it so many times I removed cloak from my BG.
