Noticed that the other day but decided not to post a thread. I'm also curious about who he is though.
Void rim is the game DOG was developing prior to the requisition of pox. I expect they'll pick it back up once the major stuff with pox is fixed and Gedden is no longer needed. Looks fun, very pox ish.
Hell if I know. If I had to guess, I would expect to eventually see Gedden as lead designer on void rim, with sok lead designer here. This would require that moles and wraith become acquainted enough with pox code where they could design and make an entire new drums of war program by themselves. As I have no idea what their programming skills are, it's impossible to know if this is feasible. It's just conjecture on my part, that is based on nothing, and is undoubtedly AT LEAST a year from now. I envision that happening after the map program, drums of war, and trading is fixed. Or maybe never. Again, just conjecture on my part.
i don't think void rim's coming off the shelf anytime close to that soon having said that, i hope it does come off said shelf eventually- it looked like it had a lot of promise but felt almost completely unfinished when i tried it (a while ago)
I don't think it will be remotely close to a year either. It really depends on how it takes pox to be self-sufficient. I would be willing to bet that Gedden would like to go back as soon as possible, though. I 've never actually tried the game.
