first I will say I maybe miss some runes, I am not familiar with all functions lets start: IS Dwarven Sergeant - 5 speed had surge and lost it and a lot more cost now 69 1 of the cheap have drive and Rallying Cries Houndmaster - cost now 75 have drive and boost ST Lonx Beast Tamer - cost now 77 have drive and invigorate Aspect of Infinity - cost 83 have Divine Favor and Duplicity lost blindfire got 7 speed I don't know for what she need it Chronomancer - got haste and slow cost 72 SP Feshcaller Mika - cost 83 have heal mass and summon UD Deep Elf Summoner - cost now 77 have drive and summon u can add whatever rune that it a support I have 2 suggestion: 1. lower the damage they got, if they don't have damage give them abilities that will reduce them cost 2. bring back passive - cost (between -5 to -10)
Support is hardly support anymore. Most of those units bring a very respectable combat threat as well. The only problem is that there is no discount for not having a basic attack and most basic attacks cost nothing. This is a huge flaw in our system that Sok is pretending doesn't exist.
Passive would give some weird interactions with abilities if they are coded as attacks. Also if you think those are bad supports, just look at the sad state of FW supports. Tomb Lord is like 90 nora Mysian Necromancer last I checked was around 90 Lich Servitor is about 80 nora Dark Aprentice is flat out awful Cleric of Unrest is ungodly bad at 7X nora unless you run liches. Not to mention all of these have terrible stats.
DE temprtess with 5 speed and 59 nora and still worse than other support units.. she really bog down by her upgrades
Yeah, It was six nora before if I remember right, which was definately too cheap for such an amazing ability.
Ises worst support champion Dwarven Alchemist. Low damage, HP, low speed, a rank 1 bomb and a few cheap upgrades, 80 Nora... Meanwhile a flying action potioning guy cost around 60 for less trim, and better abilities
Let's give all champions Adept Arcanist for 0 nora, and see what happens. Maybe then they'll realize how much does a basic attack cost.
On the contrary, I have, in the past, expressed that these units SHOULD be getting a discount for not having a basic attack and that I preferred to do it that way rather than making basic attacks cost nora. And, in fact, many passive champs do actually have a modifier now, but admittedly there are still many champs that still need that adjustment.
- yeah stop calling them modifiers...thats like saying lumbering champs have modifiers (which is technically true)...but its just their cost. Makes it sound like your giving charity to passive champs
Angel of Mercy cost 77 Nora. I swear Sok said intensify changes wouldn't shoebox angels... Guess he forgot one...
Tomb Lord isn't only a support unit he got surge too Mysian Necromancer agree Lich Servitor isn't support at all he have Lich-born and surge Dark Apprentice can't agree more bring him despoil again Cleric of Unrest agree
few more Examples Spell Blockade 50 nora there is a lot of spells that cancel magic that cost a lot less Crystal Elemental can't even call him support Dwarven Beermaiden kind of support Fae Advocate can't even call him support Frostfall Icewisp can't even call him support Still Life - need to cost now less G'hern Sustainer kind of support Goblin Spellkaiser can't even call him support Jakei Maiden vs Angel of Mercy Heal Mass3 and Cleansing Aura I think maybe lost Mark of Al'Mara are worth it Myx Coordinator Silverclan Tinkerer Snake Charmer too many abilities? Spirit of the Mountain - Spirit Projection maybe cost too much hard to call her a support unit Tortun Portalmage dmg to "0" and maybe Charged Summon Tortalleon cost too much Yeti Spirit can't even call him support Albino Fesh 90 nora but not belong to here Aspect of Chaos 90 nora and got Channel: Damage that he can't use Nefari Messenger take her Life Siphon and maybe some range Spectral Emissary take his flight Stitched Magearm lower his hp, maybe Magic Eater to upgrades? Stitched Merged lower his hp maybe def too rework on Meld abilities Stitched Seamstress need a rework on his U2
I'd call it a modifier because there isn't a universal value but whatever sok believes it deserves. I'm not saying there isn't a rhyme or reason to his method just saying it's not an equal cost reduction.
