I got to AMA with all sorts of relatives who were in WW2, its always fascinating specially those in combat. Glad I got to do it while I could, I think anyone can learn a lot from it. What's even more fascinating is the hearing stories from those were in labor and or reform camps. They have some very interesting Insight and warnings for how society goes and what man is capable of. It often amazes me just how close those times were.
