So you don't want to civilly discuss what you didn't think about the debate you didn't see.
Okay, I won't, then.
they were both playing to their respective voters, i think. i feel like hillary did better, but that's not saying all that much, considering.
BurnPyro, what was the point in creating this?
he was trying to be witty in creating a thread about the debate that wasn't, theoretically, about the debate, taking a subtle shot at recent moderation shifts.
he wasn't, but he's cute when he tries so i'm lettin it slide
Hillary will win.
Not sure if thats good or bad, but it certainly beats having Mr. Crazy Trump ahead of one of the greatest nations in the world.
I agree they both were very conservative in the fact that they spoke at their voter base. Personally this strikes me as bad campaign tactics. Those people have already made up their minds on who they will vote for. The debaters need to speak to the people in the middle and sway them to their side.
hillary will win for sure
I hope not. I'm not trying to start a debate, just giving my two cents.
From what I watched, Hillary seemed far more mature and professional. She used reasonable arguments backed up by facts, she admitted fault for her mistakes, and overall was far better prepared.
One scary thing that Hillary brought up was that Trump's business would benefit massively from the changes he planned to make, calling his policies, including the 35% to 15% business tax cut, the "trump loophole" which would allow him and his family to become extremely rich.
Nope didn't watch the debate. The election is rigged doesen't matter who you support. As long as you side with the popular political opinion in this forum and what the moderator likes you will do fine in this thread.
All politicians have connections/conflicts of interest no matter what we do. With Trump, it's just theoretically more transparent, for better or for worse.
I do it for you baby
The John Oliver Scandal segment was pretty weak.
Never found John Oliver to be as good/amusing as stewart or colbert
Only half listened to the debate, thought it was pretty tame. Both hitting each other on obvious stuff.
Also hillary is dreadfully boring to listen to.
you mean the " Fact Checkers?"
I'm guessing you're not convinced that these fact checkers are objective?
Separate names with a comma.
