Probably the nicest town in the North. Not very big but it's a university town, nice atmosphere, well preserved medieval streets (and the Cathedral). Good place to visit or live for a while and there're plenty of great places around the countryside up there if you haven't been before.

Dude, thanks a ton. Trying to decide uni choices and haven't visited a couple of my choices, trying to get a feel for the places.

Oh, right. I think it'd be a good choice. I was working with people who used to lecture at Durham (we were in Middlesbrough -- don't go there!). All good stories from the uni. I also went to the uni Go club and the students were pretty sharp and good sorts. Definitely consider going.

Yeah, heard it's a good university. Town seems kinda quiet though. Thanks so much for the help man.
