Can we get her range and Entangling Attack back? -2 Base Dmg +1 Min Range +2 Max Range - Bleed from Upgrade Path 2 + Entangle to Upgrade Path 2 With this she will essentially have: -4 Damage. (-2) from changes, and (-2) from no longer getting the full Faction Bonus. Deploy will yield 12 dmg not 16 dmg anymore. 2-4 Range. Provide additional CC option. Disclaimer: This is what I want. This is not a buff request; more of a re-redesign request.
I agree with this. As it is, she's just a stupid beater. Before that, she was good at shutting down a single melee champion. Kinda broke my heart how they screwed her...
The reason everyone loved the Mistress before the revamp: 7 SPD. 2-4 range. Entangling attacks. Of these pluses, she now has this: ... It would be great if the revamp hadn't completely rewritten runes and their roles from the ground up, especially when they were popular and already ostensibly balanced, in context with the rest of the game's meta. Rebooting things like Nefari Fireslinger and Turtle Rider was a no-brainer, because these things were shoebox and boring. Mistress wasn't in that pail.
Myx Sandlion(aka sandsnipes) would like to join in this conversation too. I dunno why they decided to change range champs into melee beaters. Unless of course they are going to re-introduce Sandsnipe in the expansion.
WITH Hidden: Sand, even. I guess they saw Hidden: sand and wanted to keep that, so they reworked his entire kit around it, and decided that range was imba with stealth? (at least in SL, that is)
Gedden doesn't like too much range in UD, I know some people don't agree with this but I think most UDers support his position. Given this, the old build won't work so well. Not to say she doesn't deserve a buff, and another interesting way of giving her cc could be found, but I think the priority now is making bad UD themes viable. It is possible she could be part of this, as a bleed champ. I'm going to get some feedback on the UD forum first - thread incoming in the next 12hours.
If he doesn't like having too much range can he make all the current range into melee and make new range runes options like temptress she a waste of a range option cause she pretty obsolete
I have been around since just after the ST expansion. I know UD is meant to be a range-gimped beater faction. However gimp does not mean, absolutely no ranged, just very little. This changes her back to what she was. Minimal range with a single target cc. I am not saying that the Soften or Subsume is bad, or that we need the range. Just that I would like her change reverted.
- There's always bola attack or give her attacks grounding like netter...with a "magical attack" would it trigger?
God damn it can we get flavorful range to make gedden happy and give us some?.....idk throw demons that explode
