Computer bugs, can't delete bg's sometimes, once i do it skips to the end of the list

This is on the PC, i try and delete a bg, sometimes it comes up with the delete screen option, sometimes i doesnt; if it does and i am able to click delete, it deletes it and then skips to the very last bg in the list of bgs i have built
