With all the talk about split heroes eventually being playable in full faction, it made me think about how I'd like to see Jyx play out. Current Build 14 / 6 / 1 / 1/ 54 Amphibious Attack Physical Manic Split Hero UG1: Lifedrinker / Bloodseeker / Soulseeker UG2: Siphoning Aura / Soul Channeling / Bleed Cost with Bold UG build: 82 Nora He doesn't really fit in with the Salaman style of play. I like the idea that he's a bit of a mindless killing machine, so here's what I think. Rework 14/6/1/1/54 Amphibious Attack Physical Manic Split Hero/Hero UG1: Provision: Offence / Bloodseeker / Soulseeker UG2: Scrapper / Soul Channeling / Bleed Cost with Bold UG build: 83 Nora This is a simple change which allows him to maintain usage in splits, but provides a roll in Salaman as well. Not 100% sure if true or not but isnt manic a basic attack. So wouldnt manic+scrapper be OP as all hell.
i think manic is not a basic attack off the basis that old flesh-blight didn't proc ZA/swarm zombie on manic attacks. (if i remember correctly that is)
I like the idea of Jyx having scrapper because he used to have oblivion shield. It gives Jyx some survivability back
Whether it's FF or split, access to 'Soulseeker and Scrapper' is insane. Same goes for FF UD with Bloodseeker, if the Split Hero change actually happens.
I don't think I'd call it insane personally, but if that's your concern... swap them? Have Scrapper and the Seeker upgrades on the same path, and Provision: Offense, Bleed/Channeling on the other other.
Jyx has already been reworked since I came back. Not looking at reworking him again at the moment. EDIT: Changed my mind, may fiddle with him a bit.
