Terrain generators are already shoebox. If you charge them nora for generating terrain, you'll sink them forever in the endless deep of shoebox.
So you mean you'd be able to pay nora in order to make it generate faster? I could see that being useful in aquatic decks where everything is already cheap.
Alright, that could be cool. It would also open up the space for other terrain types. I think there's just ooze, rock, ice, shallow water, and sand right now? There could be another set for more dangerous terrain types, like lava or tar, that only generate with nora. And now I want a chasm generator.
IMO, the only thing that needs to change is how terrain is generated from these relics. Flood Generator should work as is. Sand Generator could fill first from the direction of it's mouths (cardinal directions first) Rock Generator could create in a spotty or checkered pattern Germination Engine could give Saplings spawned from it Forest Walker Glacier Engine generate in fractals (crystalline) Lots of neat things could be done with this.
Why stop at terrains? We could have a Piggmy Hippo generator for FS. So here is the plan: When it is deployed it will generate a 2x2 area of hippos with iniative around him. At the begining of each turn, each space adjacent to the first row of hippos will spawn another hippo. By spending some nora (let's say 20), an additional row of hippos would be spawned. Since it's in FS it should cost 40 nora instead of 35. Gosh I'm soo good at this, I am willing to offer my help to develop new runes anytime you want. Preview:
