nice to see im not the only one found the power of elven treecaller and if need transform it in tree reset them too at least the summp treefolk so with 11 ap you deploy 2 summon in one raund wthout deploying ^^
Dictate and Unstoppable: Enforcer of Circle's Dictate ability does not remove AP from unstoppable champs... nice way to benefit from dictate and not lose any AP.
Two more: 1) Slam/Knockback and Illusions: Using slam or KB to trigger traps is fun, and blocking the champ getting knocked back is fun, but causes damage to your blocker unless they are Turtled, immune, or have damage eater... however... Illusions will provide a backstop for knockback damage and will not die until the last instance of KB has processed. Nice way to get some free damage out of your slammer. 2) Punish and KB/Slam... useful for chasm maps. Punish first, then knockback over the edge... bai bai!
In poxbase I notice the dictate ability is the old one, not the fixed that drained AP, how does it work in game?
It drains AP in game, like it says in the description... but unstoppable units are immune to AP loss.
a mini combo i notice waile i make some wizard deck is is with flamage of th circle and deploying throne of the circle i atack then use the nova ability then cleansing flame if target is closer or well if i need it ^^
Nymph + Vortex: Use voices on a heavy range champ that is causing havoc for you. Cast Vortex on him. He should teleport back to the the enemy shrine where you can get a cheap hit. I have not tested this though.
Combined Arms stacks now. It didn't used to when I tested it. One of my favorite spells thematically. So it isn't that great but it does have its applications....Elven fury counts as a ranger and warrior, so gains battlemaster2 and dodge1 with 1 cast. After a 2nd cast she has rank3 BM and rank 2 dodge which is actually pretty good on a champ with sunder and inspire. Fury is one of the runes I hope will get better on revamp. Elves runs a lot of rangers and warriors and archers either way, so it can actually be a versatile spell. If they give us any more dual-class runes or make splits viable then it could be good. Also If you skip shatter upgrade, Warcaller Fiorn is pretty tanky with dodge2 and block 2.
I'm sure this whole thread may have to be edited and revised. In honor of the revamp, however, here's a new combo... Elven Artisan + Forest's Embrace- Elven Artisan now has Recycle as an upgrade. Forest's Embrace permanently gives stat buffs thanks to the Cocooned condition. If the Cocooned condition is removed early, the stat buffs remain. As such, you can equip a champion with Forest's Embrace, Recycle it, get a full nora refund on the equip, and permanently give your previously equipped champ some nice stat buffs. Also, keep in mind that Elven Artisan has Craft so she can bring Forest's Embrace back when needed.
Tanglefoot + Flamemage + Forest's Embrace = Tanglefoot's lost Pariah and have Pilfer. If I calculate right, you can pilfer Forest's Embrace with Tanglefoot and Cleans with Flamemage and then repeat again to increase Tanglefoot's stats. I can not try it right now, but someone should.
I'm going to go ahead and redo this list... >.<. Right it's all getting wiped and we're doing it all over again.
Nectar Fairy (recharge, heal charged 2) Area Effect damage spell (thorn collection, etc.) Divine Favor champ (epochal sage, avenging angel, etc.) If you have quite a few champs on the board, and most of them are damaged (even a little bit), throw out your Divine favor for anything upwards of 10 charges (or even 20). With recharge, you get 12hp healing once or twice per turn for quite a while. If you have champs that aren't damage but are near enemy champs, throw down AoE speell to damage theirs and yours. Then divine favor, and use charges on nectar fairy to recharge. Your champs have likely recovered from the spell, and you nectar fairy has enough charges to get 12hp healing at least once per turn for a while. Throw Horn of Order on her for extra AP gen and multiple invigorate.
I just tried it, and after the end of my turn, the mirrored copy became my opponents, and I lost my font. It was single player fortunately.
