but i don't have all achievements for the 1st one yet..


so are they just gonna hit different continents/timelines or

 

OH Firk SKAVEN AND LIZARDMEN

I love skaven as my second team in fantasy behind orks

but I get the feeling this will be smaller than warhammer 1

 

i'd expect it'll be the same size, and just as dlc-augmented.

also there's a chance that wh1 gets skaven and kislev made playable, skaven being in the marshland to the south between estalia/tilea

 

That's Skavenblight (the city ruins within the marsh)

As for the size - it'll be around the size as Old World itself (slightly bigger), although with more settlements.

 

also apparently if you own wh1 you can play any of the races in the wh2 campaign

 

Yup, that's correct - you also get to have the two worlds (Old World and New World) connected with each other.

 

full price dlc then?

it seems pretty early for a new one to come out already.

 

the original plan was for 3 games, i believe. all with their own dlc

 

Which begs the question, what races is the 3rd one gonna use?

 

no clue, i don't know this setting as well as i do 40k

 

speaking of 40k, how about that D0W 3 game coming out soon

 

looks nice. gw has had a nice set of releases in the last couple years

 

Love the games, but man they really milk the dlc thing.

This is just a dlc with more whistles and bells.

 

it sounds like a new campaign setting, a new campaign type, a number of new races/rosters, with more dlc of its own.

putting the last part to the side and just comparing the numbers on what the content is up front+the 'free' content later for it, i feel like it's probably reasonably priced compared to a series of DLC in the same vein


having said that, i don't see why they're bothering with making multiple games. it seems to me that they could just as easily have released all the other content as dlc for the first, and perhaps made more money

 

combining both games if you own both is a big selling point I think

Didn't 1 release like a year ago? How is this suppsoed to be a new game?
