Whats up with everybody "Quitting"

Why does everyone make everything so dramatic?

its always like, ok this game is not fun "im quitting!" must sell all runes, cut all ties, and never play this game again! @Cydna @themacca ect... just do what i did. leave the game for a bit, a few months ect. but be sure this game will still be here a year from now in one form or another, so their is no point to sell runes and never come again.

what this comes down too, is im gunna miss you guys(anyone that says they are leaving), and when you say "selling runes" it makes it final in a way, and that makes me a sad baby.

 

Yeah, just do what I do, fade into obscurity every now and then.

It makes glorious returns that much more possible!

 

Also makes it easier to get handouts when you do return. Everyone's all like "oh sweet, I knew that guy, he was cool, I wish he'd play more". Then you just put on that sad, sheepish little face and be all "I'd like to play again, but damn, so much has changed, there are so many new runes........." and everyone nods sympathetically, because we all know getting back into Pox can be tough sometimes. And suddenly everyone wants to give you their spare runes!

Coming back to Pox is like Christmas, except instead of a fat guy in a red suit handing out gifts, it's a bunch of fat, greasy, glasses-wearing gamers.

If I say i'm taking a temporary break, I'll come back before I want to and the cycle of being stressed out returns all over again. Saying I quit means helps me reinforce the idea that I shouldn't play Poxnora anymore. I want to quit Poxnora, not take a break. If it turns out later down the road I want to start playing again, I will.

 

Seems i can't quit pox or smoking.
I'm just not a quitter.

 

You did a great job coming up with interesting forum topics when D.O.G. took over from sony and pox was down for so long. I truly believe you helped a great deal in keeping people interested in pox when a lot people were giving up.

no rank reset, new runes not strong enough. ranged nerfs were handled poorly and targeted a bunch of runes that were already mediocre or sucked.

 

just substitute tobacco for something that wont give you cancer.
