There is a 3.65% chance of not drawing a champ when you have 4 reveals and 16 champs in your BG. It's not likely, but it is possible.

its happened to me multiple times in the last couple months. you should be guranteed to draw a champ with a certain number of champ runes in your deck.(like 15 for example) Ive seen games where a player doesnt draw a champ until like turn 3.

This happens in any competitive game. Bad draws happen. A "mulligan" option would be nice though.

@Markoth that's not true at all and there are pretty simple ways to fix this problem.

It is entirely possible to get a bad draw in any game with random draws whether it is MtG, Hearthstone, Duelyst, Poker, etc. The difference is that all of those games have ways of trading your bad cards for random new ones (Which also may be bad ones).

Guaranteed champ draws have been tried and just led to really broken 1-champion decks.

To be fair when mw24 mentioned the guaranteed champ he did say contingent upon a certain number of champions being included in the deck.

The problem is that that simply enforces a particular paradigm of how to build your deck (otherwise you are at a disadvantage).

In such a scenario, we might as well REQUIRE X champions in your deck as well.

But this is why Shrine Scry was introduced, which basically reduces the chance of you not getting a champ in your first 2 turns down to below less than 1%. I do want to change it to a mulligan format tho at some point.
