Can Doom be banned from rank

It's pretty stupid.

 

In before people say play around it.

You can use those 6 turns to like, kill meatshield zombies!

 

and corrupted soul cant be cleansed, this game drains the life from me

 

The Possession effect can be cleansed, though, and there's a full turn where the opponent doesn't get AP or move the champ while it's possessed.

that's what I thought, I placed a cleansing emerald next to a possessed champ and it wasn't cleansed. But forget about corrupted soul and let's focus on Doom. How about limiting Doom to 1x per bg because playing against Doom spam is just plain obnoxious.

 

Cleansing Emerald only cleanses friendly champions; Possessed champions count as enemy champions. It's WAI, it's WAD, it's just complicated.

Wow, the spell is pretty good now. Honestly I'd like to see it played a lot before calling anything(although it does seem ultra over the top).

Agreed, how this spell ever got through a design phase is beyond me.

 

Fun fact, Doom was considered shoebox-bad when it first came out. Its only change since then has been a +5 nora nerf.

 

it should probably be reworked along with like 500 other runes.

 

Doom is 2.0 banish just takes 6 turns and you don't come back.

 

banish is terrible, the refund is ridiculous just like on rebound. the devs are clueless when it comes to the gameplay/game balance, most stupid stuff like this will never be addressed. smh.

the game needs more players, more funding, and a bigger staff.
