Could Sand get the same visual treatment?

It was really cool when snow, water, and lava tiles got improved so that side-by-side tiles blended together.

Is there any chance that Sand could get the same improvement so that the tiles blend together instead of looking all patchy?

Maybe something with a texture like this?

So like, pox needs to fix it's ram troubles before doing something like this.
You know, how pox continued to use more and more of it, albeit slowly.

yesterday I heard someone lagged with the current sand terrain.

This is a dream that i belive could become true.

I vote for this change and i know in my pupaes they will get the ram thing fixed

 

but first fix the terrible bugs that don't let me play rank. I'm talking about the ones where you randomely dc, lag in lobby and outside of poxnora, random black screen. I reported this and only the 5-10 random freeze has been fixed which at least is something but the dc one is worst.

 

He's right. All there ever was is a randomgoodstuff.dek that happened to have a couple of sandspray champs and a nifty little 65 nora 5 speeder support champ.

With this request, I'm assuming that the person who does the sprites (and this sand) would be a different person from the one who would be working on lag issues.

Yeah. But the new high graphics sand would increase how much pox nora uses to begin with.

 

I really would like all the visuals in pox get a treatment, with this new games coming out with amazing graphics it seems that pox coul really need a revamp in graphics as well.

I'm talking about static (non-moving) sand.

It wouldn't use any more memory than the current sand. It'd just add a dozen pixels (maybe less) on each side. Heck, if they gave me the snow and water gif/png/whatevers, I could easily use them as a basis for the sand, and have it back to them in a couple hours (maybe a day if I'm busy with other stuff).
