Do you have trouble playing against your main faction?

For example, my main faction is IS and for the most part I have no trouble whatsoever playing against it. IS vs IS is a bore, but whenever i'm playing KF or ST I know what to expect when I play against IS.



So, title.

 

Sometimes yes, KF themes are good counters to one another ironically...

 

Oh, the internal swears that happen when my Magic Amp deck goes up against a first turn opposing Menalaus!

 

not anymore , back in the days when amp and ice eaters were everywhere st typically FQ'd each other when we met up as a courtesy.

those days are gone though....I murder all fellow st players with a prejudice now =(

I probably would still fq them if they wanted but nobody offers heh

Funny enough, yes i often had trouble with SP. People tended not to play it very much, so my practice levels against the faction were way lower when compared to others

 

also cause SP OP

 

Well, UD has pretty poor responses to a shrine-rush unless you already know it's coming, so I actually tend to do best against "my" faction.

It's the only deck I can play well. Just shadowspawn a bunch of guys and ambush the shrine.

 

I never really have trouble facing UD (my most played faction), regardless of what I'm using.

And focusing on killing the shrine is 100% legit. It's part of the game, and if you aren't ready for it then that's your fault.

 

My deck is better than theirs and carries me in almost every match up so FS included.

 

The best games i have is against IS because win or lose i am happy for the outcome

 

I mean it shouldn't be. I know everything that can be done in UD and what works in there. I have way more chance of losing because of other factions where I do not know much about. I have to lose more to those to know what to expect.

 

Weirdly enough yeah, I seem to have the most trouble against other UD bgs.

 

More of a theme player than a UD player, but been playing Minos 80% of the time the past few expansion cycles.

UD is my easiest match-up. The only UD player who ever posed a problem was Agirgis and that was usually with his splits, otherwise it's just autopilot at this point.
