Was short lived cleanseable before? Why would you make Doom uncleanseable? How do you counter that? :/

Yeah, just had a mega buffed Doomed Talgar rush into the middle of a phalanx of 4 the turn before he was gonna die. Swapped with Geo, shockwaved, and kill 3 out of 4. And then I redeployed with it. The rage quit was priceless.

If your BG is built around one champ absolutely having to stay alive, it's not a very good BG: So that means that if your BG isn't that way, you don't even have to care about DOOM! Because they just spent 40 nora doing virtually nothing enjoy the free tempo and just make sure you do something with your champion worthy of at least (champ cost - 40) nora then win the game.

This is the way I've always played against doom. What more could I have said? Both IS counters were given, but not the fact that you can use it to your advantage.

 

I'm sorry for appearing to be unnecessarily salty if that's what you meant, Hex. You're right, and my BG isn't built around single champs like that. But it is annoying when a buffed Magnus suddenly gets DOOOOOMED, is all. That's why I came looking for the counter.

 

FW has a lot of ways to one round a champ

Soulreave, Reapers blade, Essence Drain (probably the most important here). So buffing up your champions is never really a good idea versus FW.

 

The problem is when people cast doom and have a metric Firk load of phase shift/ghost/stall champs/soul collection to get the ****** double globe. Thats when it gets cray cray
