Ironfist Stronghold in a nutshell:

I was just watching the game and thinking of how everyone says "Well, if you position and anticipate..." while thinking the Barb player was doing a good job spacing out, then watched the Geomancer swap, get invigorated, Bouncer leap to push, then gravity flux. I just laughed out loud as all his units went from full to dead.

It's funny because i said shock wave was broken months ago and everyone laughed, they said it is "predictable". When your opponent can pull your units close use invigorate and move 8 spaces then shock wave it is far from predictable. On top of all the relocation and push and pull effects in pox now it makes it very easy to set this ability up now. The ability itself needs a nerf , i'd like to see it become similar to something like annihilation or chain lightning.

Yeah.

 

Doesn't matter if he got it is had multiple ways to swap before , just happened to be worse they gave it to him also.

That isn't the issue, the issue is the damage shockwave is able to deal.

Prior to revamp IS had the exact same kit AP gen wise, and Geo was fairly "avoidable".
What changed post revamp?
1) Cheap champ spam makes it harder to correctly position champs, while the damage also escalates the more champs are out;
2) Geo got Swap 3 base.

So yeah, Id say Geo having Swap is a big issue, even though it's (obviously) not the only one.

for the point 2: Geo had swap 3, maybe on upgrade but he had it. If i remember correctly the other upgrade where stone blessing, create chams, and ???

And just as a side note, Geo is a counter for the point 1. You spam champs? You already know what is coming.

 

The main issue is just shockwaves potential damage. It shouldn't be able to do as much as it does.
