Since this is for new players maybe include what Hammer Strike and Sapping beam do. They probably don't know.

Again, the list must be short, and generic champion control is something that you know exist, unless poxnora is the first game you ever played. and is widely available also.

I have much to learn, this game requires a dash of strategy, a pound of skill, a pinch of luck and one hell of a good memory. So many runes so little time.I like your guide and actually going to reread it again. So far have learned a few things and am still trying to learn to identify abilities from the pictures on the runes without reading them.To all you ranked players you guys get most deserved props for knowing these things and remembering it all.I looked at the ability list on poxpulse and my brain exploded. And that site is not updated so I assume there are tons more.AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Again thank you for this guide.

As a list for new players I would say FW's Obelus would be one where someone wouldn't know what was happening right off. Could quite easily kill their own champion :p

The game is so full of obelus that I assumed even non-pox players know of it's existence.

Maybe remove Time Slip as it can no longer target opposing champions. :)

As long as you dont memorize this power spells you will lose and lose and lose and lose and lose every single game, this is why new players including myself get frustraded and think its a pay to win, and I dont blame them because the battlegrounds are full of people who have been playing for years and have every single rune in the damn game. And good luck finding new players to play against because this game is also full of alts.

If you have played league of legends, its like starting to play against gold players right from the start. So what i recomend for new players is to find a guild and play with people of your guild so they teach you, dont play battle grounds against random people, you will just get stomped without knowing what the hell is going on.

The nora costs on a few of these is off at a glance, and I see missing nora costs on some as well.

It's memorize to win. (abilities, spells, combos, AP counting, cooldowns, which button to push for which ability or attack instead of using the mouse, etc)

I am outdated myself, I don't think I'll get to know the meta again anytime soon.

Color Coding: The FW color you've chosen is slightly hard to read. The other colors you've chosen are slightly off the matching colors. SL, UD, and IS were perfect. I also moved them to be alphabetical order. I'm editing formatting, and phrasing as I go. I'd suggest you change the thread title to List of Support Runes to be aware of when playing Poxnora. Anything within [ ] are my notes. I left Hyperlinks where I felt them necessary, and added them where they weren't.

    Forglar Swamp (FS)
    Forsaken Wastes (FW)
    Ironfist Stronghold (IS)
    K'Thir Forest (KF)
    Savage Tundra (ST)
    Shattered Peaks (SP)
    Sundered Lands (SL)
    Underdepths (UD)

    Forglar Swamp (FS)

    Backfire (Backfire boon) - 45 (60) nora,
The next spell your opponent cast fizzles (and all you champions heal 15 HP) [This effect is HIDDEN until triggered. So be aware that it may be active.]

    Bog Trap - 40 nora,
Area Effect 2: For the next 5 turns, spaces within the affected area are Water (Impeding 1), and when a non-Flying, non-Amphibious champion enters one of these spaces, it loses all AP.

Bubble of Protection - 40 nora,
Target champion gains a Buffer of 35 HP. This overrides any existing Buffer on the champion.

    Drown - 80 nora,
Destroy target small champion occupying Water. Plants, Undead, Elementals, Flying units, and Amphibious units cannot be Drowned.

    Flood - 40 nora,
Area Effect 3 - Target area becomes Shallow Water for 5 turns. At the end of your turns, all champions without Amphibious or Flying are knocked back 2 squares from the center square and take 2 Physical damage and the affected area grows by 1 square. [Very disruptive terrain spell, play with caution.]

    Font Eruption - 50 nora,
Each enemy champion and enemy relic in a font or shrine deployment zone takes 12 magical damage. [As a general rule against FS, do not place your relics in your Font, or Shrine areas if your bg is reliant on relics.]

    Murkwater Weakness - 35 nora,
Area Effect 2: Champions in the affected area have -2 SPD, and have their DMG and DEF set to 1 for 2 turns. [A very debilitating spell, and there is a champ with Spellsurge: Murkwater Weakness within the Snaptooth theme.]

    Nora Drain - 45 nora,
Target a champion you own, each player loses all Nora. [ Not really seen outside of Trick Decks. if you see this effect played. Expect future shenanigans from your opponent.

    Nora Infusion - 25 nora,
For 5 turns, target friendly champion is Nora Shielded. This effect is hidden until triggered. [More nora generation for FS, attack carefully and decisively when you come across this. Don't want to give your opponent any undue nora.]

    Noraweave - 35 nora,
For 4 turns, you gain 10 nora for each successful basic attack made by enemy champions. [Same as Nora Infusion, be careful about attacking wantonly.]

    Psionic Impact - 30 nora,

For 1 turn, champions damaged by Psychic attacks are knocked back 2 spaces. This effect does not stack.

    Psionic Storm - 45 nora,
Area Effect 2: Opposing champions take 6 Psychic damage and gain Wandering for 2 turns. The area of effect increases by 1 for each friendly champions with Attack: Psychic in the area of effect, to a maximum of 5.

    Psychic Blast - 35 nora,
Target champion takes 6 Psychic damage plus 3 Psychic damage for each friendly champion with the Attack: Psychic ability.

[All of these Pisonic/Psychic spells have potent effects, and will see play if your opponent is using a Psychic BG, familiarize yourself with them.]

Pygmy Hippo Stampede - 60 nora,

Area Effect 3: 3x Pygmy Hippos with 9 DMG, 5 HP, Charge, Crazed Charger, Feeding Frenzy, Amphibious and Skirmisher are summoned randomly in the affected area. Each come into play with 5 AP. [Special mention, Feeding Frenzy]

    Reverberating Blast - 55 nora,
Target champion takes 10 Sonic damage. If target champion takes damage, that champion is Stunned 2 and the next closest champion within 4 squares takes 5 Sonic damage. If the closest champion takes damage, that champion is Stunned 2. (Essentially a two target stun of your choice, plus damage.)

    Slipwater - 40 nora,
For 1 turn, whenever an Aquatic or Semi Aquatic unit enters a water space, it gains 1 AP. This effect can trigger up to 5 times per champion.

    Undertow - 40 nora,

Target an unoccupied Water space. The nearest normal-sized enemy champion within 4 spaces is relocated there.

Font of Restoration - 35 nora,
This relic has Healing Waters (Target champion within 2 spaces heals HP equal to half its max HP), Cleansing Aura and Instability (When this unit uses an ability, it loses 10 HP).

    Flash Bang - 25 nora,
This relic has Shadowspawn and Flashbang (When an enemy champion moves within 2 spaces of this relic, this relic is destroyed and enemy units within 2 spaces take 6 Magical damage and become Blinded for 2 turns).

    Mystic Whirlpool - 30 nora,
This relic has Font Aversion (This unit is automatically destroyed if deployed in a font zone). Whenever a non-Flying, non-Amphibious champion moves within 3 spaces of this relic, it is pulled one space directly toward it. [Massive amount of CC, and HP on this relic.]

    Nora Perals - 30 nora,
When a player successfully casts a spell, the enemy gains Nora equal to 50% of that spells Nora cost. This does not stack. (Unique: Spell Seal - you may only have 2 Spell Seal runes in your Battlegroup) [Be sure to check behind the FS shrine as you play. Players routinely hide them there.]

    Poison Trap - 35 nora,
This relic has Shadowspawn. When an enemy champion moves within 2 spaces of the trap, all enemy champions within 2 spaces become Poisoned 3 and lose all AP. This damage ignores DEF. [Extremely disruptive, tread carefully.]

    Soulsphere - 40 nora,
All champions you own share damage equally with each other rounded up while this unit is in play (this ignores defense except on the target of an attack). This unit loses 3 life when a unit you own takes damage. [It does exactly what it says, global damage reduction with the damage spread across all your champs evenly. Again, be sure to check behind the FS shrine as you play. Players routinely hide them there.]

    Swamp Warts - 20 nora,
This relic has Marsh Gas (This relic loses 5 HP. For 1 turn, all Poison damage is treated as Fire damage instead, CD1). [Can be used to bypass Relic/Shrine immunity to Poison.]

The Foulest Mushroom - 30 nora,
This relic has Amplify Poison, Choking Aura and Choking Stench. (Choking Aura, Enemy champions within 6 spaces have Vuln: Poison) [Can be used to powerturn in Poison bgs.]

Tortun Land Cannon - 45 nora,

This unit has Cannon Shot (Target unit at Range 3-6 takes 15 Physical damage. This is not an attack. This ability is removed after it has been used 4 times). This non-attack bypasses evasive, elusive and arrow eater.

    Darkmarsh Blackstaff - 35 nora,
Equipped champion gains Immunity: Magic and Defile Corpse. Forglar Swamp champions also gain race: Undead and Boon of the Undead. Forsaken Wastes champions also gain Amphibious and one rank of Leap. [Usually seen on Timothy of the Vile]

    Darkmarsh Helm - 40 nora,
Champion gains Stealth and Assassinate 1. This equipment can be dropped as a relic that causes friendly champions within 3 spaces to become Stealthed at the end of your turns. [Usually outshined by Destiny as it has more consistent damage, and a heal. Still sees play, tho usually in FS/UD splits.]

    Destiny - 40 nora,
Equipped champion gains Piercing Shot 3. If the equipped champion is a Boghopper it also gains Quest: Kill Enemy.

    Emergency Kit - 25 nora,
Equipped champion gains Detection 3 and Rover: Speed. At the end of its turn, it gains a rank of Melee Specialist. [Seen in all FS bgs for 'spot' Detect.]

    Gold Sand - 25 nora,

Equipped champion has Regeneration 3 and Attack: Magical. If the champion is a Salaman, the closest enemy champion within 6 spaces becomes Blinded for 2 turns.

Horn of Order - 50 nora,
Equipped champion gains Drive and Invigorate 2. If the equipped champion is a Tortun, it also permanently loses Ponderous. [Seen in all FF and Split FS bgs. This thing churns out free AP like it's air. Very potent.]

    Pulsing Globule - 20 nora,
Equipped champion has Toss (Target unequipped opposing champion within 4 spaces gains this equipment). When this equipment has been on the same unit at the end of 4 consecutive turns, this equipment is destroyed and that champion takes 30 Poison damage. [Terrible equipment, absolutely terrible. As it will nearly never trigger on your opponents champs. It can be used to heal your Poison Eater champ. It is however, extremely fun to play around with. Chances are, if you see your opponent running these, he's having a laid back game.]

    Reverberating Bracelet - 25 nora,
Equipped champion gains Sonicburst. If equipped champion has Class: Monk, it also gains Void Shield. [Seen more in ST/FS Monk splits similar to Northern Wind Discipline.]

Scimitar of the Deep - 35 nora,
This champion gains Amphibious and a close-combat Physical attack. When this champion occupies Water, it gets +10 DMG on this attack. [Very potent burst damage. Similar to Darkmarsh Helm, this run was phased out with the widespread use of Destiny. It does however still see play.]

    Thunder - 35 nora,
Equipped champion gains Explosive Attack 3. If the equipped champion has Attack: Gunor Pistol Shot, it also gains Cull. [Usually seen on Mangleshell, it finds it's use among Tortuns.]

Tome of the Arcanis - 30 nora,
Equipped Wizard gains a rank of Teleport, Metamorphosis, Expedite, and Levitate (Target champion within 3 spaces gains Flying for 4 turns). [Usually used for the Metamorphosis ability. You can temporally disable a champ, but the goal is usually the removal of defensive abilities that will let you kill a key unit the same turn it's played. Be wary of Wizards. "Fear most those that appear to have no weapons. - Serkan, the Lich King" ]

    Feeding Frenzy
    Nora Drain
    Nora Seep
    Tortun Land Cannon
are all bad and may not be worth listing

Also you should include Slipwater, Poison Dart, and Horn of Order.

I'd still list Nora Drain/Seep for their specific 'trick' bg interactions. But I can see Feeding Fenzy, and Tortun Land Cannon being removed.
