Ok... Theres California right next to you, but you want to move to Colorado? Are you sure you're 17 and not someone who's about to retire?
Nah, Dog the bounty hunter is king of crazy. I dont want him chasing after me because I didnt pay a parking ticket!
What about Germany, we don't have as much insanity ... And in the southwest the weather isn't even that bad, man
There are a few downsides to living in California. I would much rather live in Colorado, Minnesota, Texas, or a number of other states over California. Drought http://xkcd.com/1410/ Mudslides Earthquakes Restrictive gun laws http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_California
Well, the gun laws are one of the few plus sides I see ... Although with guns seeping in from less reasonable states all around it probably doesn't make things safer either. Ugh. Good old Europe ...
The main thing I think about when I consider living in America or visiting there is Food, Weather and the girls (mainly food though). Guns, police and nicer areas dont even cross my mind
I'm from Vegas and I'd recommend Caesar's if only because it's pretty easy to walk the strip from there. Mandalay Bay is at the edge of the strip and Bellagio is probably really expensive. Freemont Street and downtown are alright, and also where all the hipster bars are, including Insert Coin which is a bar/arcade with a lot of classic arcade machines -- though unfortunately they blast terrible techno on the weekends. If you want to go a bit farther the Double Down is also an interesting bar and often has punk rock shows going on. Anyways, if you're not 21, I really don't know what you'd do since you can't drink or gamble and that's mostly what Vegas is about. As a local, I avoid the strip like the plague because everything is too expensive, so take my words with a grain of salt.
Is Red rock ok? apparently it's really good but covah may be slightly biased seeming all his friends work there But anyways im going to Vegas because it looks really nice, I dont gamble and I got friends over there who can get alcohol, I just love how touristy it is with all the lights, shows and really really big hotels/casinos, plus it's right next to Cali so why not
Red Rock is way the hell out there. I've never actually been, but if your interest is the strip it seems like unnecessary travel time because its like 20-30 minutes away from the strip and downtown.
Yeah, but apparently I will have some problems getting in one of the hotels on the strip, because you need to be 21 and apparently the strip hotels check your ID even if you have a credit card but apparently the ones slightly off the strip, wont check if you look smart, and have a CC
If you got of age friends there, just have someone else book it and pay them back or something. I think you just need the key. I went to tons of parties in hotels and suites on the strip all throughout high school and IDs were never an issue. I guess Red Rock is fine if you don't want to risk any nonsense with IDs.
@Garr123 Ah, just the perosn I need then. What hotels did you go to when you when you went to a party in one of the suites, and are they worth it?
everyone says this, but you won't scare me away. Its my goal. My best friend from hichschool and best friend and roommate from college both live there. I love the night and music scene there and I don't gamble. On top of it (aside from you) I know two poxers who live there (one being that same friend/roommate) and I have several other connections there. Not only that but I wouldatill be fairly close to my family in Salt Lake City. Everyone, including my family, tries to convince me not to go but its not happening; I'm gonna live there one way or another. I might work for a couple years elsewhere first but I'll make it. Colorado is my second choice. Been there dozens of times. I have family in Denver and Vail, and I just saw Bassnectar at the red rocks and just barely missed his belly-up show in aspen. But Vegas is mmore my style
Personally I am disgusted by Vegas and its nature. Can't understand why people go there or appreciate it. But to each his own, I do Bane Shift most people can't appreciate either
