New online competetive turn-based tactical customizable strategy game!

Have ya'll played against my (easy mode) AI yet? I think it has a 16% win rate last i checked :3

Been working on expert mode AI for several weeks now. It's gonna be brutal once it launches. It's also going to be the framework for lots of singleplayer content i.e. campaigns, boss fights, etc.

Prob start playing the same time I pick up pox again after exp 29. Pretty sure my user is Markoth as well.

 

Duelyst is getting better. The new signature spells mechanic was really needed to make the generals/decks/factions feel distinctive. And the new cards they've been adding are really fun.

Agreed. Coming back to it after a period of playing Hearthstone is like a breath of fresh air. I think it really hits a sweet spot between depth and energy required to play the game. I kind of regret dropping money into Hearthstone now when I could have spent that money on Duelyst, but it is what it is.

 

I prefer an indie game called Poxnora.

 

I prefer a slightly better than indie game called Pox 2.0

 

The mental-energy thing sounds nice, but I'd rather play something like SFV or Dark Souls if I want something less mentally taxing than Pox. Pox still has that special sauce, you know.

Incidentally, I wouldn't be surprised if the brain-drain was a big reason people drop after a while, or just physically play less.

 

Nothing will ever replace Pox but Duelyst is a nice change of pace. I also like how they just throw free cards at you

 

Anyone playing the new expansion? I'm enjoying it. battle pets are cool

 

Yeah I've been facerolling through ladder with creep. Makes me wish Pox had a draft mode.
