The man was confused. He felt the impact and heard the snapping in his nose, but he did not understand. He had seen his friend and ran up to him placing his right hand on his friends right shoulder and left on left as he excitedly said; "Holy Bane Shift dude it's been ages how are you. it's me-". It hit him then, his words cut short by the punch squared on his well sculpted nose. the force of his friend turning imparting into his face and deforming his features. The man did not understand, and his conciousness left him. He woke up in what looked like a hospital room. a woman sat near. He recognised her, isn't that his wife he thought to himself. The woman spoke; "Please forgive him, he couldn't help it. you should never aproach him from his back left." His confusion only increased, a concussion perhaps? "what?" was all he could muster in reply. "It's the army, he left for the war but never came back, he used to hold my hands and look into my eyes, but last week our daughter tried to suprise him and he screamed in her face." she turned and walked towards the door. "Please, the police is outside, please don't press charges it's not his fault... I'm sure he will be himself again, he left but this isn't him, not this .... BASKITCASE". The man stared at the door closing in the woman's wake. "Did she just misspeak the word basketcase?".
The Bavarian Icefest was a hoot. (Only sour note was my 4 y/0 acting like a stinky turd on the 2ish hour drive home). I heard at least 6 different languages spoken, but probably 8-9. Lots of Asians and whites, with a little of many other groups too. Gobs of Seahawk fans. I will post some pics shortly. With such a cosmopolitan and festive atmosphere, I wondered if my trust in humanity would approach/equal 100% and then I too would become a socialist. Nope. (World still contains lots of goodies and lots of baddies). My 2nd A support is as follows: 1). I have a greater responsibility to safeguard my own life than anyone else. 2). I am usually in the best position to safeguard my own family. 5). When a baddy targets me or my family for harm, kind posts from folks on the Internet won't be worth a daRn. 6). I would rather kill a baddy than be the victim of a horrific crime. 7). Baddies know that 2nd A and CCW is a thing, thus LOTS of crimes are prevented without so much as a gun being displayed. 8). A rapist that targets the wrong gal, and gets lead poisoned instead, cannot ever r8p again. 9). Conceal carry is logical, legal, and moral. Have a bright day folks.
