Damn, I remember him from a few movies I watched as a child. Reports are saying it was a suicide, couldn't imagine why he would do such a thing... Oh well, death happens.
I know that (said it in the post). Dying naturally and committing suicide all end the same way, death.
Guess he was suffering from major depression, still surprised me. Figured he died of natural causes when I first heard about it.
He lost himself some time ago. He's had a long battle with drugs off and on since forever, but if you'll notice about 10 years ago he started always being "in character". He was basically gone, as a person and only had the funny guy character left. He got real on Ellen (I think) once and it was scary how dark and depressed he looked, until he snapped back into funny guy. Very sad, very sad indeed.
