Simple change from, all champions within 2 spaces are eviscerated 3 changed to all enemy champions. Might make this spell see some play.
For me it's auto. Easy way to counter nasty equipments (BTBlade, HoChaos, Honor Coin, Medal of Honor, whatever else mess with my tactics). The DE Scout was not than good for the same purpose: usually I want to counter the equipment asap, and deploy the DES is not the faster way to do it.
I like the spell for exactly what you said, but 30 nora is alot for what is essentially shatter which costs 6 nora. For 30 nora I wouldn't mind running it to do a bit of damage.
Shatter, retri and fading recollection are the only three runes in every one of my BGs. That's probably why I lose a lot.
The thing about these easy counter spells (shatter, demolish, FR, purefire) is that they only do one thing - but do it really well. I generally just use FR because I'd rather have a spell with flexiblity. I also think they lead to bad habits if you don't learn to work around situations.
True. I ran a UD set without any spells for a while, just to try out various options. Was fun but an occasional spell can certainly help.
