Swarm/Summon champs

Why do the strig walock swarm beasts have 15 dmage and 38 hp? Am I the only one thinks this is ridiculous?

And I agree, it's a very good swarm.

 

It also has charge base and (with domain active) 1 DEF and, if I'm not mistaken, 6 SPD. Why are people complaining about Anaru's lerper when that thing exists?

 

Lower the Swarm's damage to 9 imo. Swarms from ranged champs should be weak like the skellies from Demonologist.

And we already discussed Lerper is b/c it draw-wins on a couple maps

 

I hate how they can swarm off of summoned units. So maybe it is too strong, or it's just that interaction. I find them really strong, especially with ST bonus. Comparable to loch magistrate, but stronger for swarm reasons

 

does locus keep swarming locust with more swarm?

 

Swarm as a mechanic in general is much needed counter-balance to summons.

 

I get it. It's like spiders, mogas are Bane Shift to stuff like zombies all of the sudden. @Senshu not a rock, paper, scissors idea though.

 

There's other mechanics such as battle leader which take care of summons though. Swarm working on summons is kind of whack because you are still summoning units, and the person who created the original summon will most likely not have shatter summon or much are for that matter, and will have rituals which work nicely, but not as nicely as free attic beasts xD

 

Sorry, I'm noob, I rarely play against Moga, are u referring to their use of Moga pups+ surge or something? I always thought they won by overwhelming with real units

I understand the bonus, while it is very strong in ST that is not my main problem with that beast but it's damage. Just too much for a swarm imo

difference is lerper comes out with anaru, and yeah on some maps just blocks your path to get mid font

 

I concur with the : ranged units' swarms should be weaker

 

It is much easier to prevent your opponent from an easy swarm than it is to prevent your opponent from summoning a summon with all the various ways to do that from a safe distance.

And with the new and improved AoE on Shattered Summons, you can easily avoid hitting friendly summons now so there is nothing holding you back from adding it to a bg with summons of its own.
