try a more highlander approach to see what works. fire elementals are very efficient and goblin dirtbags bring a lot of utility as support/harasser (but these are no demons). I see demon liches as auto as they bring magic damage, can heal (depending on upgrade) and the set ablaze ability is amazing and combos well with bane shift.

 

take out the globe of deception, no need for it in just about any bg except maybe blood. Keep the theme with fire and put in a purefire spell. Banish works ok, but it's honestly not worth the nora cost so i'd say put in a tinder like fentum said. Incinerator is meh. I'd put in fire phoenix instead.

a cauldron instead of a fire dancer. Coaldron bypasses arrow eater, immunities, etc

Out of interest, why the Summoners, Goblin Archers and Balefire Knight?

 

goblin archers because the multi attacks from the vothsairs proc encouraged real nice and you need some kind of ranged. Balefire knight because lulz, and he's not terrible imo. Summoners because ap gen is op and so are the imps that they summon.

The rest of the bg is ok for anti ranged but it's not a full themed for anti ranged as you can surely add plenty more to it.

Gotta get a Phoenix into these BGs. They are working out rather well. Surge Flame = crazy damage opportunities.

 

I play tested the phoenix i don't really like it. I can see the potential but its really nichce and the theme of this bg was kinda cheap fire meat.

I really do like the idea of bringing in a flame elemental and i def will.

Is imp familiar really ever worth 70 nora???

 

imp familiar could be if he manages to doom. imp alchemist is usefull for his +5AP potion for 61 nora. (he has revere firemaw, but that is paying 10 nora for a 9 nora discount).

Yup. Phoenix isn't really a fire champ, surprisingly. Pretty good though.

THis is my best BG so far. It can beat H0spy. Provide Dmr with a good fight. And if IS doesn't play UV wiithin the first 6 turns, or Sun Blossom for that matter, it will kill stuff without your opponent noticing, or fighting back.

 

That looks a cool stealth BG. How do you deal with UV?
