What should and should not be in PoxNora.

Hello.
This thread is not about balance. That subject has been beaten to death and I'd like to stay away from getting involved in it on the forums. This is about theme of the factions. Please feel free to post your own thoughts.

Whats buggin me:
Humans should not be almost entirely FW. They should be IS. IS is a faction of Humans , dwarves and like. Barbarians should not be a race but a class. FW should be Undead things (not necessarily evil) like skeletons, zombies, spirits, ghosts.
Witches should not be FW. Witches are commonly associated with devil worship, demon summoning etc. That should be UD imo.

Please clean up the FW faction. We dont need no stinkin humans and witches here.

In classical fantasy literature necromancy is closely associated with witches and witchcraft. In the context of Poxnora a "witch" is a practitioner of certain dark magics as opposed to a worshiper of demons.

 

Should be in Pox: Elves
Should not be in Pox: every other race.

 

Should be in Pox: More fancy runes like Aria

 

Should not be in Pox: FW
Should be in Pox: More Jellebrium.

New thought:
Dwarves should have their own faction. The elves do, so why not the dwarves? Make IS a human faction of paladins knights and the like.

Dwarves, unlike Barbarians SHOULD be, are a race.

 

You are right, they belong to the faction of REMOVED.

 

Remove dwarves and move the beer synergy to boghoppers. I like my frog legs correctly seasoned.

The dwarves run IS just like the elves run KF so not sure what your point there is.

I like humans in fw. I like elsari reaper and elsari swordmage(art/lore), a human theme using dark magics would be pretty cool actually.

FW humans are more evil/dark magic types compared to IS humans which are more neutral/barbs

I also want to see fw paladins come back. More factions would be cool maybe.

 

the poxnora forums is not a democracy. It is run by the greens and they have absolute power.
