Like $50 USD for 12 months with 250 slots for active speakers. I mean, I could buy it an set one up for everyone assuming I get enough players wanting to use it.
There's multiple options. I'd be willing to pay for it, set it up, and manage it if the greens would officially support it and we got enough people who'd be willing to use it. Personally I find it amazingly fun to actively talk to my opponet during friendly games. I could set up a global chat or two, set up match rooms for 2 people, team rooms with 2 rooms of 2 people each ect..... Wow, looking into this, it's a per month thing. $611 for 250 for 12 months. I'd only select the 12 month option for the discount of 15%. Might have to accept donations. But yeah. I'd be willing to do this.
$611 is alot of money thats nearly 15 mega box sets =o lol i think like 15 will be enough this game has a playerbase of 100
I honestly don't see us filling up the 50 mark, but I'd be inclined to do at least 100 as we may not have 100 player on at all times, but that doesn't mean Pox players wont join the server just to chat.
Having an official teamspeak server owned by the company that is open to use by the users would be interesting but would also be very clunky not to mention the licensing. Professional licenses are a lot more expensive than private and come with a lot more strings attached. That is why most games just license the encoder or other tech and build their own VOIP. But, if individuals within the community want to use one of these VOIP services and post the access info on the forums would be completely okay.
If allowed, I can start setting a Dischord server up for Poxnora. Create rooms, send out invites ect.
