Discuss the all new campaign that is only available for a limited time! Companionship Gala: http://forums.poxnora.com/index.php?threads/companionship-gala.21690/ As a note: if you were already logged into Pox Nora when this campaign was activated you will need to relog before it will be able to accessible.
BG I beat both parts with. _________________________________ Alternative win methods. First part. SP/KF Bad Blood + Magic Amp First Part. FF FW Wailing Banshee's & Reapers Blade Unholy Tomb & Tome of Hate is a boon as well. Revanents Xulos Dark Favor __________________________________ Second Part FW/IS Impervious on Thor, 2x Anathema for the Healer. Use it before you attack him. 2x Revenant, 2x Reapers Blade, 2x Mobi, and done. Not 100% sure on this one. It's just my observation that it wouldn't taken 2 rounds less had I Impervious from IS to keep the pressure instead of pulling him back for better positioning.
Also are we ever gonna get a campaign that resembles anything like a normal game and not this enemy-spams-meat-spams-superchamps-useyour80dmgboar-killthe300HPguys thing? Yes I know the AI sucks. But this thing is barely Pox Nora. Just a normal campaign next time, thanks.
The things awesome with this in a list: A big version of the Huntress is win. Free Limited is Win Events are nice, maybe make it a weekly or bi-weekly thing concerning lores and capitalzing on plots
Then I must question your understanding, since your post implies that you think DOG somehow has the resources to make this new AI from scratch without letting the game suffer. This is Pox we are talking about. Not chess. Chess starts with a given setup and has a limited number of moves, and only one move per turn, hence why analytically it's much easier to get computers to analyse the situation and figure out the best move. There's so many variables in Pox and no given start in each game, on top of having different maps. To think that they can just make an AI that's somehow competitive without cheating with the small team they have is impractical.
What on earth are you talking about, I never mentioned anything about new AI. And stop it with that tone already, it gets boring after a few years.
Because a "normal game" campaign would require an AI that is half competent. Just like the dailies to be remotely interesting, they have to be overpowered. The current AI can't do any of that. Hence why your post implies that we need a new AI. Unless you didn't realize so, and just figured that would magically happen.
You read what you want to read, all my post said was that I would prefer a campaign that was closer to what a normal game like the skirmish looks like rather than the weird things they include in the campaign right now which you wouldn't ever encounter in normal games. No mentions of AI being improved, no implications of wanting a new AI. And what you deem interesting is pretty damn subjective. But I guess I have to question your intelligence since you didn't quite realise all that, did you.
