Didn't the Crystal Elemental used to have an actual attack?

Also, I honestly don't get the "need" for Commander. +2 damage is nice, sure, but not usually as important as speed or range, or HP (probably the most important). Improve Speed is amazing, as it helps in basically every situation (more hits, more movement, threat range, etc.).
