Out of the abilities that currently exist, design the one that is most efficient, most abuses unintended ability interactions, infuriates enemies the most ...

If a decent number of entries appears (say, 20) I'll decide on three utterly arbitrary categories and hand out two exotics and one legendary for the one I deem most cancerous. One entry per person. People on my ignore list not eligible.

    Go on, entertain me.

See, I could just create a champion with Attack - Physical as its only ability, give it below-average stats, and it would probably come out at around 15 nora. And just for kicks, let's assume it was a FW rune. It would be the most efficient champion ever, and you'd bee forced to declare me the winner.

But since I'm not boring like that, I'll go with something else.

    Elsari Cryptkeeper

    Damage: 0
    Speed: 5
    Range: 1
    Defense: 1
    Health: 30

    Abilities

    Exhume
    Immortality
    Sacrificial Power
    Teleport 2
    Stationary (to lower cost)

    Upgrades 1

    Frost Greeting
    Psychic Jab
    Guiding Spirit

    Upgrades 2

    Grand Entrance
    Rite of Power
    Reinforce

Should come out to around 50 nora. Not actually sure if Exhume can be used more than once per deploy. It has a cooldown of 9, but Gravewatcher has never lasted long enough for me to find out if using it a second time overrides the first use. If it doesn't, then you could potentially get 2 or more reanimates with one deploy.

Hrmmm. Not good enough IMO. We're not going for balanced here, remember. Anything goes. *anything*. This is just deep leviathan with deploy charged. Admittabley likely far more powerful, but surely we can do better?
This forum seems so good at claiming things they don't play are OP when they aren't... Logically that would mean we'd be amazing at making an actual op champ, like, something so cancerous it would literally obliterate the meta and drive away every person who comes within a square lighthearted of it.
Deploy charged cataclysm? Please, I could beat that! That's custom campaign end boss at most. I don't want that. I don't just want to see you guys try and make the world burn, I want you to obliterate it! Throw it in a black hole that exits into a universe consisting solely of a million light year wide ocean of instant dissolve acid! I want you to make @Sokolov rethink his descision to even comment on this games forums! I want you to make them so terrified of the possibilities of this game, not only will they never make a new expansion, they'll never touch anything related to cards again, metaphorically or not!

This shadowspawn unit is a bit pricey but gets to kill a champion with a single hit. When that hit happens, the Ragequit Phoenix is killed and drops another shadowspawned Ragequit Phoenix (with Wandering) in its place and is redeployed in the nearest deployment zone with 5 AP (without Rebirth). So after one kill with Killing Stroke you now have 2 Ragequit Phoenixes (one with Wandering and one without Rebirth). The resulting Brainless version still has Rebirth and so can create another Ragequit Phoenix when it dies. In total, this champion creates 4 Phoenixes each which auto-kill a champion when it makes a basic attack. All 4 champions are Shadowspawned and they usually come into play with AP (or , if Shadow Shift is upgraded can help the Brainless version move around).

Nope, Killing Stroke sacrifices the attacking champion so neither of those on-death effects would trigger.

Its text is old as hell, but I think Raze only triggers on rune-dock deploys (though it does say CitP rather than deployed). Also, you should give it Lethargic and Slothful.

    Super-duper Haunting Spirit

    u2
    Frostvine Snare
    +6

29 nora, essentially immune to damage, 90 HP, locks down enemy champs, and can cauterize them to prevent any healing. Not the best t1 play, but Homing Sense means it's almost impossible to escape. Good luck ever getting it out of your font. If it sticks to a range champ, you're screwed. Want to find a way to sneak some healing on there -- Soul Channeling on base, maybe?

Add fleet, because why not; but this doesn't count since the ability is not available on playable runes. Sorry :p

Well, since Kalasle pointed out that Killing Stroke sacrifices a champ, here's a version that still creates 4 champions and has either double Jabs or a Jab and Dark Favor 3. Each version is hidden and has Psychic Ping 3.

    Ragequit Phoenix
Race: Beast | Class: Demi-God | Size: Small
    Deck Limit: 3
    Nora Cost: 82-96

    Champion Stats

    DMG: 0 | SPD: 6 | RNG: 1 | DEF: 0 | HP: 20

    Brainless (+1o Nora)
    Psychic Ping 3 (+25 Nora)
    Rebirth (+35 Nora)
    Shadowspawn (+4 Nora)
    Slothful (-6 Nora)

    Upgrade Path I

    Fire Jab (+4 Nora)

    Fair enough.

    Preordained (8)
    Sacrifice
    Immortality (3)
    Raze (4)
    Mason 2 (6)
    Fleet (10)
    Lumbering (-18)
    Slothful (-6)

    Lowest Base Stats Possible

Could maybe give it death toll instead of sacrifice for -30 nora reduction and take off mason 2 as well. Not sure whose shrine would technically die first though.

    Tree Ear

    Dmg: 0, HP: 20, Spd: 2, Rng: 1-1, Def: 0

    Initiative 2 (8)
    Grow (20)
    Transplant (6)
    Biogenesis (23)
    Lumbering (-18)
    Snogvie's Greeting (8)
    U1
    Self Destruct (0)
    Short Lived 1 (-25)

    U2
    Stationary (-10)

Expensive build is somewhere around 50-60 nora.

    Usage:
    - Deploy (Snogvie's Greeting, a Sapling spawns from Biogenesis)
    - Gain up to 7AP from Initiative
    - Grow to get +20 maxHP (3AP)
    - Self Destruct (3AP)
    - triggers Transplant to the Sapling (lose 10 maxHP, Snogvie's Greeting, spawns a Sapling)
    - rinse and repeat until there are 2 enemies left, then it is once per turn only

Biogenesis says "deployed" rather than comes into play; it might be from-runedock only.

    DMG 15

    RNG 1
    DEF 0
    HP 30

    Attack: Sonic (2)
    Intimidating (12)
    Elusive (14)
    Homing Sense (0)
    Combat Awareness (10)
    Shielded (6)
    Titan (0)
    Lumbering (-18)

27 nora in abilities, can't be hit by range unless stunned or paralyzed. Can't be hit in melee without Fearless, Unstoppable, or Iron Will. Can't be targeted by spells. Takes no damage from AoE abilities and spells. Low defense and HP counter the high damage and speed for base cost.
